Cornely embroidery was invented in 1865 by a Frenchman named Bonnaz and manufactured by Ercole Cornely. The early ones could work both chain and moss stitch and could sew in any direction and by 1900 models were produced which could make raised cords, double zigzag lines and do two needle braiding.

 

The craft has been revived at our Bali artisan manufacture to give it a modern edge. The embroidery has an intricate design and structure that enhances a variety of styles and occasions, making it a unique and high-end embellishment. Cornely adds a delicate touch.

RETURNS

We operate a 30-day policy for exchange or credit note only.

Please send details to info@oceanusswimwear.com to initiate a return.

We are not able to provide a refund for your order, however to be eligible for an exchange or credit note, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it with the original tags attached.

 

Oceanus products purchased through other retailers must be returned in accordance with their respective returns and refunds policy.

  • The Lycra we use is ECONYL®, and it's made from recycled fishing nets regenerated from the ocean
  • The embroidery beading is decomposable and not polluting the environment
  • We do not use any animal-derived materials
  • All our pieces are fully sustainable

Care:

We recommend washing your swimsuit after contact with chlorinated or salt water with cold water, lay flat to dry, and do not iron.


For all power mesh dresses and swim, dry clean only.


Due to the delicate nature of the hand embroidery, please note that over time, there may be imperfections (loss of crystals).
